Today we walked 27.8 km from Cizur Menor to Cirauqui passing this momument at Alto del Perdon or the Hill of Forgiveness. On the way down the hill we saw a German woman just in front of us fall off the track into the bushes - on helping her up we noticed that the bushes had been brutal scratching and cutting her mostly on her face. Cirauqui was such a beautiful village nestled on the hilltop - the toilets of our hostal actually had such beautiful veiws. This picture does not do this resturant justice to the beauty of it, I can only describe it like little grotto with lots of separate rooms - the resturante was run by family friends of our host and they were just lovely - we had a wonderful evening with the Brazilians, missing Michael & Olivia who we found out later stayed in Puente La Reina
